Following on from the success of the inaugural Zig Zag Prologue, the second edition is now confirmed for Sunday 27th of May, 2012 and will consist of the time-trial and a stage race.

Participation Ride 

We will also have a participation ride up the Zig Zag for members of the public who want to challenge themselves against the clock, or just receive a completion certificate! 

The time-trial course will be 7.2 kms up the iconic Kalamunda Zig Zag and finishing in the heart of Kalamunda. The Zig-Zag will be closed to traffic on the day. The stage race will be out and around Pickering Brook!

This event is open to individual competitors, with categories for social and serious riders alike. Test yourself against Perth’s best riders, or challenge yourself against the clock, or just ride the Zig Zag for fun!

Boasting the biggest prize money of any Perth cycling event, Tour de Kalamunda 2102 will be an event not to be missed.

Winners in the men's open category will win $1000, with $500 for second and $250 for third place, while women's open category winners will win $500, $250 and $125.

Winners and place-getters in other categories will receive medallions and their names will go on a perpetual trophy to be housed in the new multi-million dollar Zig Zag Cultural Centre in Kalamunda.
