Volunteer Deliveries - Drivers

Many businesses are reliant on collection and delivery in order to stay afloat during the pandemic partial lockdown

Some businesses are using staff to deliver but some are finding it difficult to find insured drivers who can be relied on to pick up and deliver. The Chamber has volunteer insurance which we are able to extend to nominated drivers.

If you are able to offer a minimum of 2 hours a week to help out with deliveries please register your interest below and we will try to match you up with businesses that can use your services for local deliveries within the City of Kalamunda.

There will be a requirement to sight a valid drivers licence and there may be a simple agreement/indemnity to execute but we're trying to make this as frictionless as possible. The Chamber will not be a party to the arrangements between the business and the delivery person - we are facilitating a pool of delivery resources for businesses.

Each business will have their own protocols for collection and delivery but both sides of the transaction must be contactless and there may be a requirement to leave deliveries at the front door and telephone the occupier.

Complete this form if you would like to volunteer as a delivery person to help local businesses:
