Annual General Meeting - 25 Nov 08
This years Annual General Meeting is being held:
- Tuesday 25 November 2008
- The Best Drop Tavern , Haynes St, Kalamunda.
- Commencing at 5.45pm for 6pm start.
AGM includes, re-election of office bearers including;
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- 3 x Ordinary Members
If you would like to be a part of this rapidly expanding Chamber, then please put your name forward for nomination in this year's AGM. Nomination forms can be found below.
AGM will also include three ammendments to the constitution being:
1. Life Membership - The Chamber Executive Committee has delegated authority to recognise an individuals’ service or contribution to the Chamber through the awarding of Life Membership as an honorary appointment.
Life Membership benefits are to incorporate annual membership of the Chamber at no cost to the Life Member, and free attendance at the annual Business Excellence Awards function. Other benefits may be offered to Life Members at the discretion of the Executive Committee.
2. Affiliate membership - Individuals who are not business owners are eligible to apply to join the Chamber by means of purchasing affiliate membership. Granting of affiliate membership is to be approved by a quorum of the Executive Committee. Affiliate members can be invited to Chamber activities and events at the discretion of the Executive Committee. Affiliate Members will not be entitled to Chamber voting rights.
3. Business membership - Where a business changes ownership Kalamunda Chamber of Commerce membership remains as an asset of the business. Owners selling their business can be invited to apply for Affiliate Membership.
