The Kalamunda Chamber will once again be challenging the Swan Chamber in a team golf event, that will pit golfers from each chamber against each other in an annual matchplay event. It will once again be played this September at The Vines Resort and Country Club, in the Swan Valley.

With support from the PGA (Professional Golfers Association) of Australia , a team of 10 golfers from each Chamber will play 18 holes of matchplay, with the winning team receiving the Presidents Cup trophy, to be retained until the following year. Swan Chamber won the trophy in the augural year under controversial circumstances

Craig Verrier, Swan Chamber President, will captain their team, and Robert Bentley, Kalamunda Chamber President, will captain ours. They will decide the team order, and move around from match to match on the day to provide encouragement and support to dueling golfers.

The team will be chosen from among respective chamber members, and participation in the preceding Chamber Golf Day in April is mandatory to obtain selection. It will be a handicap event, so a handicap of up to 27 for men, and 36 for women will be allowed. Participants do not need an official handicap, as handicaps will be allocated prior to the event.

This will be a prestigious event, including a golf clinic, prizes and a presentation following the game.
