Kalamunda offers visitors an abundance of local artistic talent from open studios, galleries, exhibitions and educational classes. Whatever you are after, there is sure to be something here for you.

Artistic talent begins young with Kalamunda Senior High School assisting to develop local talent through its GATE Visual Arts program (GATE = Gifted and Talented Education). For more information about the GATE Visual Arts program at Kalamunda Senior High School click here .

Open Studios

Community Arts & Crafts Groups

Zig Zag Community Arts Inc.

Zig Zag Community Arts Inc. conduct workshops and programs to develop the arts in the local community. The activities culminate in a Festival held on the last Sunday of October each year.

The Zig Zag Festival is one of the last true community Festivals, with most of the day's activities being free, the nusicians being local, and the market stalls selling locally made crafts and arts.
