Payment Terms

These are the payment terms that apply to your membership, depending on which payment method you select at registration.
Part A — Credit & Debit Card Payments
A1. How card payments work
If you pay by credit or debit card, your payment is processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details ourselves — these are held directly by Stripe in accordance with its own security standards and privacy policy.
A2. Recurring billing
For recurring memberships, your card will be automatically charged each annual billing cycle until you cancel your membership or the membership ends. You can cancel at any time via your account, or by contacting us directly.
A3. Failed card payments
If a card payment fails (for example due to insufficient funds or an expired card), we may retry the payment or ask you to update your card details. If payment cannot be completed, your membership access may be paused or cancelled until payment is resolved.
Part B — Direct Debit Request & Service Agreement (BECS)
This part applies only if you select BECS Direct Debit (“AU Direct Debit”) as your payment method.
B1. What this agreement covers
By selecting BECS Direct Debit as your payment method and submitting your bank account details, you authorise us to arrange for funds to be debited from your nominated bank account through the Bulk Electronic Clearing System (BECS). This debit is arranged on our behalf by our payment processor, Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd (“Stripe”), acting as our agent for this purpose. Stripe does not provide any goods or services to you directly.
B2. What you’re agreeing to
By submitting this Direct Debit Request, you confirm that:
• You are either the account holder or an authorised signatory on the nominated account.
• You authorise us (and Stripe, acting as our agent) to debit that account for membership fees and any other amounts you agree to pay us, in line with your membership terms.
• You have read and accept the terms of this Service Agreement.
B3. Debit schedule and amounts
Debits will be drawn in line with your membership’s annual billing cycle and for the amount shown at checkout, unless we notify you otherwise under clause B4.
B4. Changes to this arrangement
If we need to change the amount, frequency, or date of your debits, we will give you at least 14 days’ written notice (by email) before the change takes effect. If a scheduled debit date falls on a weekend or public holiday, the debit may instead be processed on the next business day.
B5. Your right to change or cancel
You may request a change to your drawing arrangements, or cancel this authority entirely, at any time by contacting us (details below) or by contacting your financial institution directly. Where possible, please provide at least 7 business days’ notice before your next scheduled debit to ensure the change takes effect in time. If you cancel directly with your bank, please also let us know so we can update your membership records and avoid a failed payment.
B6. Delayed processing
BECS Direct Debit is a delayed-notification payment method. This means it can take up to three business days after a debit is initiated before we (or you) receive confirmation of whether it succeeded or failed. Please allow for this when checking your account balance around your billing date.
B7. Failed or dishonoured payments
If a debit is unsuccessful — for example due to insufficient funds — we may retry the payment automatically. If a payment cannot be processed after reasonable attempts, we will contact you to arrange an alternative payment method. Your financial institution may also charge you a dishonour fee under your own account terms; any such fee is between you and your bank.
B8. Disputes and errors
If you believe a debit has been drawn in error, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate and respond. You may also raise a dispute directly with your financial institution, which is required to deal with such disputes in accordance with the BECS scheme rules.
Part C — Shared Terms
C1. Confidentiality
Your payment details (card or bank account) will be held securely by Stripe and used only for the purpose of processing your membership payments, in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy. We do not store your full card or bank account details ourselves.
C2. Contact us
If you have any questions about these payment terms, need to update your payment details, or wish to cancel a direct debit authority, please contact us
