Learn to sew with Suzie London at Bits ‘n’ Bobbins sewing school in Kalamunda, in the Perth Hills, Western Australia.
Would you like to learn how to sew your own clothes and accessories? Let Suzie London from Bits ‘n’ Bobbins sewing school show you how. In our workshops and courses, you’ll learn everything you’ll need to start you on your sewing journey. You’ll learn which tools and materials to use, how to set up a sewing machine, and how to follow a simple sewing pattern.
We have lots of different workshops to choose from. Learn to make your own cushion cover, a tote bag, or a zip pouch in a one-off workshop, or a pair of PJ shorts over two sessions. Or complete all four projects over 5 weeks in our ‘Learn to Sew’ beginner sewing course, for a discounted rate. Sewing machines, notions, and all tools will be provided, as well as fabric for the first three projects. All projects come with printed instructions and paper patterns you can take home to make many more items at home.
Our workshops and courses are based in the beautiful Kalamunda Community Centre, amongst the trees of Jorgensen Park. It is a 10-minute walk or short drive down Mundaring Weir Road from the Kalamunda townsite. There is plenty of parking including accessible parking located near the side entry doors.
Looking forward to starting you on your sewing journey!
