Summer Stonefruit Festival - a great success
The Summer Stonefruit Festival is a celebration of the history of the orcharding and viticulture industries in the Perth Hills and the commencement of the Stonefruit Season. The Summer Stonefruit Festival will be held annually, with 2010 being the inaugural event.
The Summer Stonefruit Festival is proudly presented by the Kalamunda Farmers Market, and is sponsored by the Forrestfield Community Bank Branch of the Bendigo Bank.
The Festival encompasses a variety of history, entertainment, produce and demonstrations relating to the orchard and viticulture industies. This includes Grafting demonstrations, art exhibitions, tasting and sampling, performances by Vocal Evolution and the Perth Morris Men.
